Doris Bittar emigrated with her Lebanese Family to New York in 1965, and studied Fine Art at Stonybrook College in New York. Now living in San Diego, she has exhibited her work widely in art museums throughout the United States and Europe. Bittar’s work weaves together iconic images of European, American and Middle Eastern culture, combining the political with intensely personal.
